About Solus
We have 24 vehicle damage repair centres across the UK wholly owned by leading insurer, Aviva. We are also supported by an approved network of repairers managed by strategic partners, Vizion, and more than 50 motor engineers who help customers when using their own repairer.
But we do more than just repair cars, Solus work closely with a number of repairers who specialise in large commercial vehicles, and we have built our own bespoke software platform, Evolve, which allows us to get our customers back to normal.

Our history and locations
Solus first opened for business at Park Royal in north London, in 1997, repairing cars exclusively for customers of the then Norwich Union. In the years since, we have grown, opening vehicle damage repair centres across the UK. Many of our centres are approved by a number of vehicle manufacturers, including Audi, BMW and Land Rover.
Sustainability
At Solus, sustainability is a core principle guiding our efforts. Solus Exeter is our first fully electric repair centre and operates without a gas supply, with very aspect running on electricity. Our ambition is to create a Net Zero repair centre, and Solus Exeter represents an important step towards achieving that goal.
We’re also working with suppliers to develop repair technologies and products that are kinder to the communities we work within.
Working with the Industry
We are proactively working across the industry to ensure we are here for our customers now and in the future, with experts that include, Thatcham Research, to ensure we’re staying ahead of vehicle technology. Our managing director, Simon Smith, is also the chairman of Autoraise, a charity dedicated to addressing the skills gap in the industry, and a gold member of the Automotive 30%, who are a network of business leaders who have committed to being more inclusive and building a diverse gender-balanced business.
